To the very few readers out there, if you have been using http://jan-chan.com to access my blog, please update your bookmark to http://blog.jan-chan.com. I’ll be taking off the redirect from jan-chan.com by Wednesday, April 30.
The reason for this change is because I’m working on another project and would like it host it on jan-chan.com. If the project doesn’t work out I’ll put the redirect up again.
Once again, please update your bookmark for Jan’s blog to http://blog.jan-chan.com. Thanks!

So last week I went to the gym to get an orientation on how to use the machines. The trainer (or staff as they call him) was nice enough to work out a routine for me and Al. Post-Winter Syndrom
So after pigging out during Christmast, New Year and Chinese New Year, the weight of the food finally started to sink in. Yes, my stomach is a bit…behind in schedule. I used to not eat the skin from the roasted pork but I’ve been doing that and now I sort of regret it (but they tasted sooooo gooooood). Also, since summer is coming and Al’s been bugging me to get a swimsuit (he bugs me like every summer but I never got one, haha), I think it’s time to slim down a bit. Continue reading »

Aside from the yummy baked goods and tea, we have found another gem at Granville Island and that’s the Artisan Sake Maker. The sake is handcrafted right there at their studio. After taste testing all of their sake ($5 for 3 tastings) we’ve brought home 4 different ones so far. I find the sake from Artisan Sake Maker much smoother than the ones I’ve gotten at the liquor stores. Continue reading »
